The Flying Sagehens are Pomona College alumni who are also licensed pilots.  They are bound by their passion for flying and their desire to help the current study body.

Flying Sagehens with access to planes might be able to offer free flights/travel to students.

The purpose of this website is to allow alumni with pilot’s licenses and access to planes to register and communicate with students.

Students also register on the website and enter requests for flights, perhaps as a way to get home for the holidays.

The Flying Sagehens website is self-run.  No one schedules your transports or pressures you in any way.  The pilots have total control over who they reply to. If a pilot sees a request he or she can help with, then the pilot will contact the student using the preferred method of communication listed on the student’s profile. The pilot and the student then work together to arrange the details.

The website only offers a place for Pomona alumni pilots and students to obtain contact information. What they discuss and any specific arrangements made are known only to the pilots and students, being conducted using their individual email, text, and/or phone accounts.  The website designers, owners, and Pomona College are not legally responsible for any activities that are subsequently arranged.
